He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack McEuen Helm and Mabel Lucille Helm (Houser); his brother Jack Helm (Mc); and his nephew Bob Helm Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Helm; his children, Melissa Sorell (Jacob), Tonia Cotner (Robert), Joseph Helm, Shon Helm (Tammy) and Chad Helm (Crystal); and his brother Robert Helm (Patty). He is also survived by ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ryan Mortuary (137 N 8th St, Salina, KS 67401). A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at the Gypsum Hill Cemetery (2020 E Iron Ave, Salina, KS 67401).
