He is survived by: his wife Melody McKenna; his children, Kari McKenna, Nicholas McKenna, Brandon McKenna and John "Jay" McKenna Jr.; and his siblings, Patti Spaulding, Linda Smith, Alice Avery, Ruth Waite, Carol Tilley and James "Butch" McKenna Jr..
