He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Balaun and Alma Belle Balaun (Estep); his siblings, Jack Balaun, David Balaun and Elaine Wismar; and his son Dirk Balaun.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Balaun; his children, Cheryl McCabria (Russ), Sheila Balaun, Dan Balaun and Dale Balaun; his siblings-in-law, Joyce Balaun, Don Wismar and Barbara Balaun; and his grandchildren, Cheyenne McCabria, Seonna McCabria, Sierra McCabria and Stormi Balaun.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions be made to Emmanuel Foursquare Church, 1325 E. Cloud St., Salina, KS 67401 or the Meals on Wheels program, care of Ryan Mortuary, Salina.
