He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowell Swenson and Carolyn Swenson (Clark); and his nephew Kevin Hanson. He is survived by: his wife Janet Kay Johnson; his children, Jennifer Cross (Dave) and Steven Swenson (Andrea); his siblings, Carol Hanson (Larry) of Florissant, Donna Nelson (Ray) of Concordia, Kansas and Roger Swenson (Paula) of Lyons, Kansas; and his grandchildren, Nicolas Hedgespeth, Danielle Shelton (Brandon), Christine Arias (Ro), Ashley Swenson, Jessica Wamser (Jordan) and Braxton Cross. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
