He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elmer M. Hammerschmidt and Dorothy Ann Hammerschmidt (Freitag); his wife Cathy; his children, Brad (Ashley) and Crystal; and his siblings, David Hammerschmidt and Linda Kendrick.
