It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lillian Sanchez of Salina, Kansas, who passed away on June 5, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lillian Sanchez to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Calista Robledo and Jesus Vargas; her husband Philip; her sons, Albert Lee, Jonathon Howard and Philip Timothy; and her grandson Andrew.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gwendolyn Reese of Salina, Ann Spence of Kokoma, IN, Faith Vargas of Wichita, Margaret Buchanan (Justin) of Georgetown, TX and Rachel Becker (John) of Bartlesville, OK.; and her grandchildren, Albert, Teresa, Larry, Jerry, Tim, John, Amanda, Lou, Victoria, LeAnna, Gage and Sloan. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ryan Mortuary (137 N 8th St, Salina, KS 67401). A rosary will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (230 E Cloud St, Salina, KS 67401). A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery (2078 E Iron Ave, Salina, KS 67401).
Memorials can be sent in her memory to Fresenius Kidney Care Salina, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or donors choice of charity.
