Marilyn Vaupel Obituary
In loving memory of Marilyn Vaupel of Salina, Kansas, who departed this world on December 11, 2025 at the age of 73. Marilyn leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Bachofer and Virginia Bachofer (Parker); and her siblings, Joseph Bachofer and Patricia Dube (Bachofer). She is survived by: her husband Bill Vaupel; her children, Jenny Vaupel of Lenexa and Andrew Vaupel; her daughter-in-law Barbara of Overland Park; and her sister Judith "Judy" True (Bachofer) of Lawrence.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ryan Mortuary (137 N 8th St, Salina, KS 67401). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at the Gypsum Hill Cemetery (2020 E Iron Ave, Salina, KS 67401).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Emergency Aid Food Bank or the Smoky Valley Genealogical Society.
