She was predeceased by: her parents, Veronica Ernst of Atchison and John Ernst of Atchison, Kansas.; her husband Walt of Salina; and her brother John Ernst of Atchison. She is survived by: her children, Steve of Salina and Karen Laas (Mark) of Brookville; and her sister Betty Larson of Everest, Kansas. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Salina Animal Shelter, St. Mary's Catholic Church, or Gentiva Hospice, all of Salina, or St. Benedict's Church in Atchison, in care of Ryan Mortuary, 137 North Eighth Street, Salina, KS 67401.
