Maxine left this world on October 9, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Adam and Eda Adam; her husband Robert Hoeffner; and her sisters, Lucy Johnson, Nettie Williams and Leona McClanahan.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel Hoeffner (Jody) of Augusta, KS, Tim Hoeffner (Mieke) of Salina and Jennifer Dario (James) of Woodbury, MN; her grandchildren, Adrienne, Emily, Kaitlyn, Caleb, Aidan and Ella; her great grandchildren, Madilyn and Marilynne; and her siblings, Mildred Loiseau of Fort Collins, CO, Betty Salzman of Salina, Lee Adam of Salina, Gerald Adam of Salina, Fred Adam (Kathy) of Plainville and Ken Adam (Linda) of Salina.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ryan Mortuary (137 N 8th St, Salina, KS 67401). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (230 E Cloud St, Salina, KS 67401). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at the All Saints Catholic Cemetery (3350 E Crawford St, Salina, KS 67401).
