He was predeceased by: his parents, David Burrison and Rachel Ann Strait (Hill); his son Joseph Strait; his grandson Conner King; and his siblings, Harold Strait, Rex Strait Sr., Raymond Strait, David, Daniel, Duane Strait, Helen Hinson of Concordia, Bertha Cassel of Concordia and Pauline Vignery of Concordia.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Ann Breault; his children, Sheri King (Bill) of Lewis, KS and Kenneth Strait (Mary) of Salina; his grandchildren, Lucas King (Dorothy) of Camarillo, CA, Alex King (Abby) of Manhattan, KS, Evan King (Audrey) of Stillwater, OK, Kayla Keep (Nate) of Doniphan, NE, Allison Hamm (Shane) and Ashley Dinkel (Aaron); his great grandchildren, Wallace, Thomas King, Conrad, Cora Keep, Harper King, Aden, Owen and Evan Dinkel; and his siblings, William G. Strait of Hurst, TX and Joan Demanette.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the VFW, in care of Ryan Mortuary, Salina.
