He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Gabel and Emma Gabel. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Timmons; his children, Ursula (Kevin Baird), Cornel (Donna Gabel) and Jessica (Ryan Cino); and his grandchildren, Kiera, Max Gabel, Gabe and Cooper Cino.
A memorial service was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Brock's-Keithley Funeral Chapel (2509 Vine St, Hays, KS 67601).
