He was predeceased by: his parents, Dean Chaput and Gladys Chaput (Blackwell). He is survived by: his wife Kerry Chaput (Veltman); his sons, Chad (Sara) and Matt (Kristen); his grandchildren, Bria, Emma, Ella and Easton; his in-laws, Ken and Jody Veltman; and his siblings, Dennis (Sharon), Tom (Dorothy), Ken (Becky), Susie Adams (Dave) and Mark (Kathy).
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church (1000 Burr Oak Ln, Salina, KS 67401). A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at the Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery (2078 E Iron Ave, Salina, KS 67401).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Georgetown Santas Christmas Fund, care of Ryan Mortuary, Salina.
