He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Pieschl and Helen Pieschl (Shanahan); his wife Jeanette Pieschl (Dreiling); his daughter Ann Swander; and his sister Eleanor Eikenberry.
He is survived by: his children, Anthony Pieschl (Patricia), Susan Anthony and Richmond; his grandchildren, Shaman Douglas (Rachel), Arlington, Jessica Mader (Gabe), Molly Tormey (Chad), Jordan Brown (William), Michael Pieschl (Hannah Durbin-Pieschl), Ramstein and Germany; and his son-in-law Fred Swander of Sylvan Grove, Kan.. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Church or the Alzheimer's Association, care of Ryan Mortuary.
