With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy Velazquez of Salina, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 20, 2025 at the age of 71. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nancy Velazquez to pay them a last tribute.

Though Nancy may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Nancy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lawrence R. Scott and Edith C. Scott (Robinson); her husband Roberto M. Velazquez; and her friends, Eric, Janet and Mary Lou. She was also cherished by seven great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be given to the Culver United Methodist Church in care of Stockham Family Funeral Home, 205 N. Chestnut, McPherson, KS 67460.
