She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Calhoun and Clara Calhoun (Brown); her brothers, Carroll and Carl, Jr.; her husband Donald James Brown; her son Norman Guy; and her great grandchild Nathan Viland.

She is survived by: her daughter Donelda Summers (Herb) of Salina; her granddaughters, Jennifer Welker (Jason) of Kearney, NE, Christina Baney (Doug) of Ozark, MO and Megan Brown of Salina; her great grandchildren, Caitlin Garrelts (Jacob) of Lincoln, NE and Chandler Welker of Kearney, NE; her daughter-in-law Mary C. Brown of Salina; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Brown of Wichita and Carolyn Calhoun of Sherwood, AR..
