She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Helmick and Lottie Helmick (Stockham); her stepmother Nancy Helmick Wilcox; her sister Charlene Clow; her son Tucker Christy; her grandsons, Tyson Christy and Jim Christy; and her niece Joan McAntire.
She is survived by: her siblings, Donna Smithhart of Iowa, Jean McAntire of Iowa, Sharon Pattison of Iowa, Deborah Baughman of Iowa, Kathleen Milligan of Iowa, Andrea Bogert of Iowa, Jeanette Griffith of Oklahoma, Sara Cregar of California and David Helmick of Missouri; and her children, Patricia Ludwig (Steven) of Waukegan, IL, Tim Christy (Brenda) of Arrow Rock, MO, Tom Christy (Lee Ann) of Salina, KS, Colin Christy (Connie) of Turkey and Lisa Beery (Chuck) of Salina, KS. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to First Covenant Church, Salina.
