She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Henry Donley and Florence Leora Donley (Mays); her husbands, Lawrence Hook, Paul Lemelin and William Engelbert; her son Gary Hook; and her siblings, Arnold, Walter Donley, Melba Murphy and Ila Gale Kennedy.

She is survived by: her children, Jay Hook of Park City and Kim Phelps (Tom) of Salina; her siblings, Dwight Donley (Bonnie) of Beloit and Neva Rathbun of Terry, Montana; her brother-in-law Wallace Murphy of Alton, Kansas.; and her stepchildren, Dale Engelbert (Susan) of Norton and Linda Mondt (Bill) of Salina. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to the Boys Town of Nebraska, American Heart Association, or St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.
