He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Blecha and Eleanor Blecha (Baxa); his wife Donna Blecha (Hunt); and his sister Therese. He is survived by: his children, Linda Walford (Jerry) of Lincoln, NE, Beth Kumm (Dan) of Lincoln, NE, Richard J. Blecha (Tami) of Farmington, NM and Jarrod Blecha (Wuendy) of Salina; his grandson Danny Kumm (Johanna) of Helena, MT; his great grandchildren, Trevor, Austin, Oliver, William Kumm and Roen Gore; his siblings, Marge Schmitz, Cathy Switzer, Marie Chmidling and David Blecha; and his pet Manchita.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ryan Mortuary (137 N 8th St, Salina, KS 67401). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. George Catholic Church (105 Myrza St, Munden, KS 66959).
