Though Rick may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Rick touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clara Yerke and Robert Yerke; and his brother Steve Yerke. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Yerke of Salina; his daughter Shannon Yerke of Salina; his grandchildren, Jailynn Rowe and Leon Rowe (Alyssa Patterson); and his siblings, Deb Wilson of Colorado and Mike Yerke (Kara) of Indiana. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in Rick's honor to the American Heart Association or Breakthrough T1D.
