He is survived by: his wife Elsie Swanson; his children, Barry Swanson (Ruth) of Lexington, KY, Sharon Anderes (Greg) of Gypsum and Roger Swanson (Thong) of Assaria; his grandchildren, Stephanie Martin (Zackery) of Randolph, MN, Danielle Ast (Adam) of Sedgwick, KS, Joe Anderes, Salina, Jessica Goubeaux (Ryan), Thomas Anderes (Taylor), Kipp, Bryant Swanson of Phoenix, AZ, Michael Swanson (Sarah) of Phoenix, AZ, Mary Grace Swanson of Lawrence, KS and Sophia Swanson of Lawrence, KS; his great grandchildren, Evelynne, Ben Martin, Paige, Lucas Goubeaux, Ames and Ainsley Ast; his brothers, Gerald Swanson of Minneapolis, MN and Melvin Swanson of Wichita, KS; and his brother-in-law Merlin Olson (Mary). He is also survived by three step granddaughters; three step great granddaughters.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Assaria Lutheran Church, South East of Saline (SES) Education Endowment, or the Presbyterian Manor's Good Shepard Fund or Employee Christmas Fund, care of Ryan Mortuary.
