He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Berner and Vera Davis Berner; his brothers, Marion and Harold Berner; his children, Jackie Berner, Mark, Tommy Bergeron and Linda Larson; his son-in-law Tom Fishburn; his grandchildren, Paul Berner and Mindy Perry; and his great grandchild Braden Berner.
He is survived by: his brother Neal Berner of Silverton; and his children, Terry Berner (JoAnn) of Lawrence, Brian Berner of Reeds Spring, Alan Berner (Carla) of Battle Creek, Jimmy Bergeron of Salina and Julie Fishburn of Salina, Kansas. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, and 23 great-great grandchildren.
