She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry and Gladys Skanks (Jones); her husband Donald; her children, Shane and Susan; and her siblings, Irene, Alma, Sylvia, Pearl, Raymond and Samuel.
She is survived by: her children, Don Base (Rhonda), John Base (Judy) and Robin Dukes (Lorenzo); and her sister Patty Redford. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
