Ruth Slama Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on March 21, 2024, at the age of 96, Ruth Slama of Salina, Kansas, born in Morrowville, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Hanshaw and Helen Hanshaw (Ebeling); her husband Lewis Slama; and her siblings, Betty Hansen, Dorothy Lohnes and Jim Hanshaw.
She is survived by: her children, Norman Slama (Barbara) of Waterville, Linda Kasper of Salina and Nancy McElderry (Todd) of Culver; her brother Carl Hanshaw (Joan) of Oklahoma; and her grandchildren, Crystal Goss (Victor), Tim Slama (Shelly), Misty Harlan (Dan), Jennifer Godfrey (Travis), Amber Pfeifer (Tyler) and Josh Anderson (Abbi). She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
