She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Knox and Retha Knox (Hileman); her husband Jerry; her grandson Kenneth "Kenyon" Nelson Jr.; and her siblings, Kevin Knox and Kathy.
She is survived by: her children, Cassaundra Waitt (Jason) and David Hill (Kaitlyn); and her brothers, Gary Knox (Louise), Ron Knox (Hua Zhou) and Steve Knox. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ryan Mortuary (137 N 8th St, Salina, KS 67401). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at the Gypsum Hill Cemetery (2020 E Iron Ave, Salina, KS 67401).
