She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Rice and Roy Rice; her siblings, Jack Rice of Ashton, Idaho and Joan Gable of Oklahoma City; and her husband Jack Howard of Salina.
She is survived by: her children, Jan Denning (Gary) of Salina and Jay Howard (Julia) of Austin, TX; her grandchildren, Cathy Denning, David Denning (Sarah) and Jenna Howard; and her caregivers, Lisa Howe, Amanda Womack, Jessica Miles and Christina Byrd. She is also survived by her family as a wonderful mother, grandmother, and wife.
In lieu of flowers the family is recommending memorials to First Presbyterian Church of Salina or the Dog Fund at the Salina Animal Shelter.
