We are sad to announce that, on June 11, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Sondra Layne Wiegand in Salina, Kansas, born in Springfield, Missouri. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Sondra's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Sondra's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may she find rest in the embrace of eternity.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Wernecke and Violet Wernecke; her husband Butch Wiegand; her son Scott Hays; and her brothers, Richard and David Wernecke.

She is survived by: her children, Chuck Hays (Kristi) and Lisa Hays-Lawrence (Walter). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
