He was predeceased by: his birth parents, Dorothy and David Sprowl; his adoptive parents, Christine Huggins and Paul Huggins; and his siblings, Violet Sprowl, Clara Clark, Betty Lemons, Edith Sprowl, Alice Sprowl, David Sprowl, Robert Huggins and Lewis Sprowl.

He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Huggins; his children, Marianne Werner (Rusty), Michael Miller, Dena Ebel (Jeff) and Crystal Abbott (Clayton); his grandchildren, Jed Werner, Grace Rathbun, Ben Ebel, Carson Abbott, Will Ebel, Juliet Abbott, Jacob Ebel and Lexi Abbott; and his sister Diane McCoy.
