It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Jones of Salina, Kansas, born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on April 22, 2026, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Maynard Jones and Letty Jones (Raver); and his grandchild Lue Hubbard. He is survived by: his wife Tamara Jones (Whelpley); his daughter Jennifer Jones Hubbard (Jim Hubbard); his grandchildren, Sadie, Thomas, Olivia, Eli and Swin; his daughter Lindsay Jones; his grandson Benjamin Derr; his brother Mark Jones (Carolee); his nephew Adam Jones (Natalie); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Myles and Kayleigh; his niece Dr. Brooke Jones (Jared Hulstine); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Beck, Marit and Sylvi; his brother Scott Jones (Alice); his nephews, Michael Jones and John Jones (Taylor); his niece Annie Jones; and his siblings-in-law, Renee Whelpley and Michael Whelpley of Los Angeles.
The family requests donations to Emmanuel Church Salina, St. Jude Children's Hospital or Children's Miracle Network at KU Medical Center.
