It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilma J. Lyon of Salina, Kansas, who passed away on January 26, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Wilma J. Lyon to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmond J. Bechard and Albertine S. Bechard (Sorell); her husband Alden W. Lyon of Clay Center; and her siblings, Roland Bechard, Norman Bechard, Donald Bechard, Mary Frances Anderson, Gladys Forde, Arlene McNeil and JoAnn Kempton.
She is survived by: her sons, Raymond Lyon (Carol) of Overland Park, KS, Martin Lyon of Salina, KS, Gregg Lyon (Angela) of Manhattan, KS and Keith (Marianne); her grandchildren, Mitchell (Ashley), Garrett (Veronica), Tyler, Shayla (Mikel), Stephen (Jennifer), Scott (Abby), Meredith (Steve), Monica (Ryan) and Chris (Jaime); her great grandchildren, Dante, Alivia, Skyler, Bailey, Brooke, Cillian, Rory and Emrie; her brother LaVern Bechard (Audrey) of Salina, KS; and her caregivers, Theresa Medina and Karla Bartz. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and a large extended family.
