She was predeceased by: her parents, Ross Brooks and Flossie Brooks (Giles); her husband Luckie; and her son Sammie. She is survived by: her children, Garland, Carol Jean, Tina Marie and Anita (Joel). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
