He was predeceased by: his parents, George "Fred" Doan and Hazel Doan (Haworth); his wife Rita Jeanette Doan (Clarkson); and his nephew Justin Alexander. He is survived by: his children, Eric Doan (Jeni) of Great Bend and Donita Frantz (Brad) of Smithfield, Virginia; his sisters, Janice Burke of Pratt, Rebecca "Becky" Becco (Vic) of Trinidad and Jean Alexander of Tuttle, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Grant Doan of Sawyer, Josephine Doan of Great Bend, Derek Frantz (Rebecca) of Lexington and Baylee Frantz of Smithfield, Virginia; his great grandchild Brady Frantz; his nephews, Tommy Kenworthy (Sherry), Timmy Kenworthy (Kyla), Barry Tregellas (Melissa) and Jerome Alexander (Melanie); and his niece Belinda Brunelli (Kent).
