He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Dunstan and Erma Dunstan (Snyder); his grandson Cayden Michael Dunstan; and his stepson Brendan Thayne Coil. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Coil (Larson); his siblings, Edwin'Eddie' (Clelia) and Elesa (Bill McMillan); his children, Nanette (David Carpenter), Elwin (Janie) and Earl (Crystal); his stepchildren, Aaron Coil (Jana), Kristen (Jeremy Mooer) and Samantha Rines O'Dell; and his grandchildren, Kayla, Kalli, Easton, Evea, Elliott, Aubrey, Paisley, Davin, Savannah, Myles, Pierce, Covin, Sebastian and Isaac.

Memorials are suggested to the Solomon Valley Hospice or Amana Lutheran Church in care of the Funeral Home.
