She was predeceased by: her parents, Juddy E. Freed and Javene Freed (Oliver); her husband Gene Strait; and her grandsons, Dan Strait and Kyle Strait.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Strait of Belleville, KS, Terry Strait of Scandia, KS, Danita Freed of Scandia, KS and Javena Strait of Scandia, KS; her grandchildren, Clinton Strait, Aaron Strait, Michelle Lindberg, Kajsa Sharples and Kale Freed; her great grandchildren, Spencer Lindberg, Alivia Lindberg, Bennett Lindberg, Holden Lindberg, Addlynn Strait, Elsie Strait, Karma Sharples, Parker Sharples, Karsyn Sharples, Anthony Freed and Holly Schendt; and her brother Larry Freed of Bismarck. She is also survived by other relatives, and friends.
