He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Silvey (Hap) and Virgie Marriott Silvey; his grandson Tyler Graff; Jan Silvey. He is survived by: his spouse Coral Lea Marrs; his daughters, Effie (Kevin Zirnheld) and Sherry (Gary Graff); his grandchildren, Autumn Wagener, Tucker Graff (Summer) and Trinity Vallejo; his great grandchildren, Mavis and Marlow Vallejo; and his sisters, Lillian Farr of Stafford and Jeanne Cutler of Scott City.
