He is survived by: his children, Brent Smith of Scott City, Rylan Smith of Scott City and Megan Smith (Mark Smith) of Amarillo; his sisters, Marla (Randy Malin), Rhonda (Chuck Bauer) and JoAnn Smith of Egnar; and his grandchildren, Kadence Smith of Grand Island, Clayton Smith of Scott City and Taylor Crow of Amarillo, Texas..
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the First Christian Church of Scott City (701 Main St, Scott City, KS 67871).
