Robert D. Eitel Obituary

With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Robert D. Eitel (Scott City, Kansas), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Robert left this world on May 24, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, W. Orval Eitel and Ruby Irene Beeson Eitel; his wife Donna S. Heinze; and his brother Jack O. Eitel. He is survived by: his daughters, Kay Harkness of Scott City and Pam (Scott Burgett); his siblings, Glenn (Marion Eitel) and Darlene (Roger Kohman); and his grandsons, Kyle Berend of Scott City, Luke Burgett of Denver and Troy Burgett of Chicago. He is also survived by One Great Grandchild, Three Step Grandchildren and Seven Step Great Grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Price & Sons Funeral Home (401 S Washington St, Scott City, KS 67871). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the United Methodist Church of Scott City (412 S College St, Scott City, KS 67871). A burial was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Scott County Cemetery (1330 S Kansas Rd, Scott City, KS 67871).
