He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Dewey and Lavon Oleeta Hunt Miller; his sister Vada Jean Miller; his grandson James Edward Cupp; and his sister-in-law Joye Miller.
He is survived by: his sister Karen Hoover (Ken Hoover); his wife Elizabeth L. Miller of Scott City; his children, Joel (Calista Miller), Kristi (Chris Gorman), Heather (Mark Dick), Meredith (Chandler Cupp) and Lindsay (Scott Andrews); his brother Gary Miller of Loveland; his siblings-in-law, Lou (Mary Kottmann) and Lyn (David Britton); and his grandchildren, Jaden Gorman, Grace (Isaiah Harrison), Josiah Gorman, Alex Dick, Nathan Dick, William (Dalsy Cupp), Malorie Cupp, Jace Miller, Jocelyn Miller, Maylee Miller, Natalie Andrews and Abby Andrews. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
