Terry Lynn Louk Obituary
Terry Lynn Louk, passed away at the age of 64, one month before his 65th birthday, at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. Terry was born on June 25, 1960, to Melvin C. and P. Ione Farr Louk in Syracuse Kansas.
He was a 1978 graduate of Scott City High School then he went on to Liberal Vo-Tech College to obtain his Automotive Repair degree. He spent many years repairing vehicles and fell in love with motorcycles. At that point in his life, he applied and was accepted into the Harley-Davidson School in Phoenix, Arizona.
His love for motorcycles and the wind in his hair/beard was his life. He later opened up The Scooter Shop in Dodge City until a few years ago. His health started failing, so he moved to Friend, Kansas, where he spent most of his childhood. Terry loved motorcycles, gardening, raising chickens, rattlesnake hunting, and going to the lake.
Terry is survived by his parents, Melvin and Ione Louk of Lampe, Missouri, two sisters, Karen Louk of Garden City and Vickie Meeks and husband Brad of Dodge City, a niece, Janessa Bock and husband Nathan, and a nephew, Cody Meeks and wife Bailea. He has four great-nieces and one great-nephew.
A Graveside. Memorial Service will be held at 10:30a.m. on Friday, June 6, 2025, at the Prairie View Church of the Brethren Cemetery in Friend, Kansas, with Pastor Jon Tuttle presiding.
No visitation as cremation has taken place.
