It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Merle Parsons of Scranton, Kansas, who passed away on October 5, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Murl Sullivan and Bertha Marie Sullivan (Criqui); her children, Lynne Fogel, James "Jimmy", John Patrick McDaniel and Larry Dean Parsons; her daughter-in-law Ramona Parsons; her siblings, Joseph, Gene Lafferty and Mildred Baker; and her granddaughter Randi Crosby.
She is survived by: her children, Sherry Rogers of Lyndon, KS, Miriam Avise of Kanopolis, KS, Michelle Parsons of Topeka, KS, Philip Parsons (Mitzie) of Scranton, KS and Earl Parsons of Scranton, KS; her son-in-law Ken Fogel of Lebo, KS; and her brother Owen "Jim" Sullivan (Pat) of Scranton, KS. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
