With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy Lee Wadsworth of Sedgwick, Kansas, born in Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on November 6, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her mother Georgia Jacobs (Kessler); her husband Richard "Vern" Wadsworth; and her son Tim Wadsworth. She is survived by : her daughters, Kristina Mitchem (Randy) of Sedgwick, KS, Colleen Blattner (Randy) of Rozel, KS and Amy Wells (Aaron) of Augusta, KS; her grandchildren, Kyla McAuliffe (Chris), Russ Wadsworth, Megan RoTramel (Jason), Brian Mitchem (Eri), Betsy Cagna (Bob), Ethan Blattner, Abby Moore (Russ), Caitlyn Cox (Ryan), Bridgett Kippes (Jason), Gretchen Thurau (Travis), Keely Freking (Adam), Chase Wells and Keira Wells; and her stepgrandchildren, Cory Yingling and Kim Harmon. She is also survived by 25 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.

“Marilyn Grandfield and Family My Mother and Dad were very dear friends with Peggy and Vern. Our father, Jim grew up on his family’s farm just a couple miles from Vern’s family farm east of Maize. My brother Kim and I have such fond memories of just being boys with Tim, Vern and Peggy’s oldest.. Their farm south of Sedgwick provided great adventures for us as well. We all truly admired and respected Vern and Peggy as mentors outside of our family. Such beautiful family memories! Rob”
