He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Engelken and Margaret Engelken (Andres); his father-in-law Edwin Haverkamp; his daughter Kathleen Engelken; his great grandchild Emry Plasha; his siblings, Reva Holthaus, Roy Engelken (Norene) and Lester Engelken (Martha); his mother-in-law Elizabeth Haverkamp; his siblings-in-law, Ellen Winkler, Albert and LeRoy Winkler; and his nieces and nephews, Edward Engelken, Stephen Winkler, Debbie Rilinger and Leeann Kidney.
He is survived by: his wife Lillian Haverkamp of Mary's Church; his children, Laurie Niehues (Dennis) of Seneca, Angie Kramer (Dave) of Seneca, Teresa Holthaus of Seneca, Robert Engelken (Shauna) of Seneca, Richard Engelken of Seneca, Susan Broxterman (Stan), Gene Engelken (Jana), Alison Steinlage (Brian), Jerry Engelken (Alanna) and Chris Engelken (Trish); and his sister-in-law Eunice Winkler. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lauer Funeral Home (212 S 4th St, Seneca, KS 66538). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Memorials can be given in Clarence's memory and are to be designated at a later date, sent in care of the family.
