With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Denise Rita Koch of Seneca, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 30, 2026 at the age of 56. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Denise leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her father Regis Koch; and her siblings-in-law, Pat Laha and Carole Koch. She is survived by: her mother Alice Mueting Koch of Seneca; and her siblings, Jim Koch of Lee's Summit, Jo Ann Laha of Topeka, Larry Koch of Seneca, Linda Koch of Seneca and Mary Schmitz (Ray) of Baileyville. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions in Denise's memory may be made to Nemaha County Training Center, now Best Life of Seneca, and sent in care of the family.
