She was predeceased by: her parents, George F. Olberding and Elizabeth Olberding (Wessel); her husband Leonard Wassenberg; and her siblings, Raymond, Robert Olberding and Mildred Meyer.
She is survived by: her sister Irene Heinen of Kelly, KS; and her children, Michael Wassenberg (Maryanne) of Holly Hill, FL, Lynette Stymfal (Greg) of Tucson, AZ, Richard Wassenberg (Jean) of Seneca, Mary Tegtmeier (Clint) of Bern, Karen Weingartner (Frank) of Locust Grove, VA, James Wassenberg (Deena) of Falcon Heights, MN and Michelle Browning (Rob) of Paducah, KY. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions can be given to the Sts. Peter and Paul Altar Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
