He was predeceased by : his parents, George White and Hazel White (Weir); his wife Mary Jo; his stepdaughter Judy Gress; his sister Esther; his brother-in-law Martin Akin; and his sister Merleen Ann White.

He is survived by : his stepson Michael Gress; and his grandchildren, Johnny Seiter, Megan Darke (Seiter) and Matthew Gress. He is also survived by his five great-grandchildren.
