It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia G. Sanders of Seneca, Kansas, who passed away on April 15, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Virginia leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Stuke and Emma Roeder Stuke; her husband Raymond B. Sanders; her sister Esther Holthaus; her son-in-law Lee Horton (Deborah); her daughter Deborah Horton; and her daughter-in-law Glenda Sanders (David).
She is survived by: her children, Daniel Sanders (Mary) of Topeka, David Sanders of Topeka, Sheryl Huerter (Jerry) of Lecompton and Julie Boeding of Seneca; and her sister Jeanette Pinzino of Seneca. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
