We are sad to announce that on January 30, 2024, at the age of 88, Jean Elder of Sharon Springs, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Paul Roeder and Violet Roeder (Hawks); and her brothers, Ronald, Marlin and Dean Roeder.

She is survived by : her husband Kenneth Duane Elder; her sons, Terry of Sharon Springs and Tim Elder (Bev) of Sharon Springs; and her grandchildren, Torrey Elder of Sharon Springs, Caitlin Elder of Colorado Springs, Tatum Corbett (Jonathan) of Oakley, Kyle Elder (Lori) of Tribune, Natalie Cox (Nolan) of Weskan, Taylor Elder (Kieran) of Sharon Springs and Lauren Steele (Landon) of Dodge City.

She had a charisma that as a person you wanted to do your best in your life and just try. From sports,school activities it was a always a honor to see Duane and Jean in the stand cheering on.
