We bid farewell to Charles William Randel (Shawnee Mission, Kansas), born in Baldwin City, Kansas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 27, 2025 at the age of 87. Charles touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Charles may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Charles touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Wesley Randel and Ella Mabel Randel (Trammell); and his siblings, Henry Richard Randel (Dick), Clifford Dale Randel (Kip) and Shirley Griffith.
He is survived by: his daughters, Angela Rank (Mark) and Terry Randel; his grandson Spencer Rank; and his siblings, Randy Randel and Susan Joanne Marquis (William).
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Charter Funerals - Shawnee Mission (10250 Shawnee Mission Pkwy, Shawnee, KS 66203).
