It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna Marie Kampmeier of Silver Lake, Kansas, who passed away on September 12, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard "Bernie" Thompson and Marie Thompson (Laundy); her husband Willard Kampmeier; her brother Tommy Thompson; her stepson Chris Kampmeier; and her stepson-in-law Charlie Vest.
She is survived by: her daughter Regina Kampmeier (Brent Phelps); and her stepchildren, Michael Kampmeier (Cindy), Marilyn Vest and Susan Beers (Stan). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Silver Lake United Methodist Church (204 Madore St, Silver Lake, KS 66539). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Silver Lake Cemetery (4040 NW Thomas Rd, Silver Lake, KS 66539).
