We announce the death of Mary Jo Hardman of Silver Lake, Kansas, who passed away on September 4, 2026, at the age of 91. Mary Jo will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Spurr and Edith Spurr (Feeback). She is survived by: her children, Troy Hardman (JoAnn) of Valley, Devin Hardman (Kim) of Olathe and Brenda Ackerly of Silver Lake; her grandchildren, Tyler Hardman (Chasity), Ryan Hardman, Camron Hardman, Brecklyn Hardman, Kyle Frick (Myah), Breanna Ackerly and Morgan Jo Ackerly; and her great grandchildren, Brynlee, Kynlee Hardman, Finn Frick and Rory Frick.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Silver Lake United Methodist Church (204 Madore St, Silver Lake, KS 66539).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Midland Care, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, Kansas 66606 or to the Silver Lake United Methodist Church, 204 Madore St., Silver Lake, Kansas 66539.
