Lyon of Smith Center, Kansas, born in Athol, Kansas, who passed away on January 16, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Lyon and Ethel Lyon (Nye); and his wife Roverta C. Moore. He is survived by : his sister-in-law Janice K. Grammon of Winfield, KS; his nephew Charles Lyon of Missoula, MT; and also Janice. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to Independent Living or the Marine Corps League, both of Smith Center and can be sent in care of the funeral chapel.
